Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted following the United States’ strike on three of Iran’s nuclear bases.

In a post on X, Rama stated, “Albania strongly supports President Trump’s sincere efforts to prevent the theocratic regime in Tehran from ever acquiring nuclear weapons.”

“This is not just another nuclear state. Nor merely a dictatorship with nuclear ambitions. This is a theocracy – armed with apocalyptic rhetoric, immersed for seventy years in labeling free nations as ‘Satanic’ and openly calling for their annihilation. In every respect, it is a unique deviation – unlike any other nuclear-armed state, regardless of political system. As a nation that emerged from the abyss of a brutal atheocratic regime, as a proud member of the free world and as a strategic partner of the United States, Albania firmly supports President Trump’s sincere efforts to prevent the theocratic regime in Tehran from ever acquiring nuclear weapons,” Rama wrote on X.
