The Football Association welcomed the next meeting of the UEFA Media Committee this Friday morning. A meeting organized like never before in the capital of Albania and in the “House of Football”, under the direction of the chairman of this Committee, Armand Duka. This commission consists of representatives of European federations and UEFA officials.
Before declaring the proceedings of the meeting open, the President of the AFF, Armand Duka, held a greeting for all those present at this session. President Duka expressed that he feels honored that the Federation welcomes a meeting of the Media Committee in Tirana, while he also underlined the developments that Albania has undergone in recent years in infrastructure, in the development of young talents and investments in technical and strategic aspects of the game.

“Dear members of the UEFA Media Committee and dear colleagues!
On behalf of UEFA and the Albanian Football Federation, I want to welcome you to Tirana.
I am truly honored to be welcoming the UEFA Media Committee here for the first time and for my second meeting as Chairman. We are happy to welcome you to Albania, a country where football is more than a sport – it is a passion and a source of national pride.
In recent years, Albania has made significant strides in building football infrastructure, developing young talents and investing in technical and strategic aspects of the game. We are proud to share with you the progress we have made while aligning with UEFA’s values and objectives.
The UEFA Media Committee and all of us play an important role in shaping how the world experiences and engages with football. Our work ensures that football values and stories reach fans from every corner of Europe.
Today we will have the opportunity to discuss various issues related to media and communication plans, a review of EURO 2024, a look at plans for EURO 2025 for girls and other very interesting topics. I am sure we will have a fruitful discussion.
Once again, on behalf of UEFA and the Albanian Football Federation, welcome to Tirana and let’s have a great meeting”.
