Damian Gjiknuri, the newly elected Secretary-General of the Socialist Party, said that the new post brings in itself an extraordinary challenge.
“It is a challenge that I welcome. Of course, I come from the district of Vlora and had some major achievements there in both general elections. Based on this electoral experience, I will continue to do my best”, said Gjiknuri.
Asked about not being reinstated as a minister, he said that he is not concerned and that the new task is a good prospect.
“The challenge in leading the Socialist Party, from a daily management perspective, is an extraordinary challenge and I welcome that as I am a person who’s been invested on by this party”, he concluded.
