The Union of Albanian Journalists has divided the annual awards for journalists. Journalists from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and the Presevo Valley participated in the traditional ceremony, held this year in Pristina.

The Union of Albanian Journalists has shared two important “Career” awards which were won by: journalist Rudina Xhunga and the late journalist from Kosovo Qani Mehmeti.

The awards of the “Vangjush Gambeta” 2024 competition were won by Arlinda Sejda, for the best economic reporting in the print media in Kosovo, journalist Destan Jonuzi, for the best economic reporting in print and online media in North Macedonia, as well as journalists Deada Hyka and Erblina Mile, for the best economic reporting in Albania.

The “Reporter of the Year” award for 2024 was awarded to the journalists Glidona Daci, for the reports made on the chronicle events in Albania, and the journalist Freart Rista.

Meanwhile, the “Ismet Bellova” award for sports journalism was given to the journalist from North Macedonia, Shaban Sinani.
