The University Dental Clinic, through mobile dental cabinets, has gone to the old people’s home in Tirana, to offer free dental services to everyone. The work of the team of doctors was closely watched by the Minister of Health Albana Koçiu, who visited the elderly on their day.
“I have come together with the services of the University Dental Clinic to serve you now with a dental health check for anyone who also needs an intervention or a service from the University Dental Clinic.
I know some of you have a hard time accessing it, that’s why we come here and definitely to serve with free dentures for those who need them. Within the month, all the employees will take the necessary measures and know how to bring you the prostheses”, said Koçiu during the conversation with the elderly.
For the elderly, therapeutic, surgical and prosthetic treatment services were provided as needed.
The Minister of Health, Koçiu emphasized that the dental service for the elderly will also be extended to the Nursing Homes as well as the Day Care Centers for the elderly throughout the country.
