Members of the American Congress have approved a resolution on Iran and on the policies that the administration of President Joe Biden should follow in this regard.
Specifically, the resolution asks Washington to support the Iranian protests and the Iranian People’s Mujahideen faction leader Maryam Rajavi’s plan for the future of the Islamic Republic.
Referring to the malign activity of the ayatollahs’ regime in the Balkans, the resolution also calls on the United States government to cooperate with its allies in the region, including Albania.
In this regard, the American administration will ask these countries to prevent the harmful activities of diplomatic missions of the Iranian regime, their closure and the removal of their agents.
Among the most recent cases of Iran’s malicious activities is the attack on the electronic infrastructure of Albanian institutions. The attacks in question forced the Rama government to order the closure of the embassy of the Islamic Republic in Tirana and also to remove its staff from the country.
