The U.S. Embassy in Tirana has shared several photos from the meeting between Chargé d’Affaires Nancy VanHorn and Albania’s new Minister of Interior, Albana Koçiu.

Through this meeting, the Embassy emphasized the cooperation between Albania and the United States in dismantling criminal cartels.

“Today, Chargé d’Affaires Nancy VanHorn reiterated President Trump’s clear commitment to eliminating international cartels and criminal groups during her first meeting with the new Minister of Interior, Albana Koçiu. By working together, the law enforcement forces of the United States and Albania can dismantle illegal financial networks and deny safe haven to drug traffickers and terrorists, making both our countries safer,” wrote the U.S. Embassy in Tirana.
