The U.S. Chargé d’Affaires, Nancy VanHorn, held a meeting today with the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Evis Sala.
In a Facebook post, the U.S. Embassy said that during the meeting—the first official one between VanHorn and Minister Sala—the discussions focused on the use of innovation and transparency to transform healthcare.
“At their first official meeting, Chargé d’Affaires Nancy VanHorn and Minister of Health and Social Protection Evis Sala discussed how innovation and transparency can transform healthcare. They explored how U.S. pharmaceutical companies and American technology can improve the delivery and quality of public healthcare services for everyone,” the U.S. Embassy’s statement said.
