Due to a project that is being implemented in the new promenade of the Tushemisht tourist village, the number of tourists this season was few until a few days ago. The noise of the works, the dust and the bad view had completely driven away the vacationers.

“I’m from Tirana, I come here every year, I like is a good place. Very delicious cooking. It was my child two weeks ago, it was going to stay a week longer and because of the road, he went from here. He left the hotel. Now it’s gone to another place, I stayed here because I like it. And the prices are cheap” – said a citizen.

Even for Ilir Tasellari, the tourist operator in Tushemisht, he says that the paving of the road and the increase of the surfaces of public beaches and parking lots has brought tourists back again.

“Seeing the spaces created by the investment that seem to be more comfortable and relaxing now, vacationers have started to visit Tushemisht again because nature these days has been very beautiful, but the investment has beautified it more. That Tushemisht is waiting for vacationers, as it has been for some time,” he said.

Due to its beauty, hospitality and cuisine, Tushemisht is one of the most sought-after villages by locals and foreigners. This village has about 1,000 hotels and guesthouses.
