After attempts to remove the Albanian language as an official language, the ruling party in North Macedonia (VMRO) deals another blow to the Albanians. VMRO has started to fire Albanians, replacing them with Macedonians.

It is reported that VMRO leaders in all institutions are dismissing Albanians from their jobs.

The most recent case is the one in the biochemistry department, where all Albanian employees were fired.

The Albanians emphasize that they were fired from their jobs on the grounds that there is no budget to pay them.

In addition to being fired, the Albanians were not even given their last salary. The director of the biochemistry department, as well as the Minister of Health in North Macedonia, have so far refused to give an official answer to the case.
