The former Deputy Minister of the Interior, Rovena Voda, confessed in an exclusive interview for Euronews Albania that the charges against her were only based on rumors.
In addition, she said that there is no concrete evidence for her accusations while adding that the interceptions are inconsistent with each other and according to her, these prove that we are not facing a piece of criminal evidence.
“The whole accusation and reasoning behind the final decision were based on gossip and rumors against me started by two other people. The entire basis of the accusation is based on third-party wiretapping, and investigative tools, which did not lead to concrete evidence. From the analysis of these interceptions, it appears that they are unclear indications and not in accordance with each other, and of course, they clearly prove that we are not facing a criminal act or a piece of criminal evidence,” she said.
