If the parliamentary elections would be held this Sunday, the Socialist Party would lead with a very slight difference in the district counties of Tirana and Durres, as its difference with the Democratic Party is almost two times smaller.
The second survey conducted by MRB for Euronews Albania showed that in the two main counties in the county, the difference between the two main parties has narrowed from 10.3% to 5% in Tirana and from 6.4% to 2.9% in Durres.
When asked regarding which party they would vote for if the elections were being held next Sunday, citizens in Tirana replied:
SP – 41.5%
DP – 36.5%
SMI – 5.9%
Others – 3.7%
Undecided – 12.4%
Something that comes to the attention is DP’s rise with 4.8 percentage points. In the first survey, SP received 42% of the support, while DP, 31.7%.
Based on these results in the district county of Tirana and after analyzing the voting trends of the undecided in the last elections, MRB has made the following projection: SP will lead with 5.7% over DP, whereas SMI would only receive 6.7%.
When asked about which party they would vote for if the elections were to be held next Sunday, citizens in the district county of Durres replied:
SP – 41.1%
DP – 38.2%
SMI – 5.1%
Others – 4.6%
Undecided – 11%
Similar to the situation in Tirana, DP has seen a rise by 1.3 percentage points compared to the first survey, whereas SP has seen a drop of 2.2 percentage points. In the first survey, SP received 43.3% and DP 36.9%. Another important factor that comes to the attention is the rise in support for other parties from 2.5% to 4.6%.
Based on these results in Durres and after analyzing the voting trends of the undecided in the previous elections, MRB has made the following projections: SP will lead DP by 3.3% and SMI would receive the 5.7% quota.

Methodology
The second survey in the district counties of Tirana and Durres conducted by Euronews Albania in collaboration with the prestigious company MRB, held 715 face-to-face interviews in Tirana and 425 in Durres with adults over 18, in the timespan from February 27th-March 31st.
