Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that no one from Serbia will be in Tirana at the EU-Western Balkans Summit on December 6 because of, as he said, the EU’s “shameful” reaction to the appointment of Nenad Rasic as a minister in the Government of Kosovo.

“You get your daily salary, travel by plane, make notes about how Serbia is guilty of something, and you can’t find anything that Serbia is guilty of. No problem, just do without Serbia, so let’s see what you will do and how,” Vucic told Pink.

He added that when they address Serbia, they should take into account everything that has been approved in Brussels, if it has been put into practice and take care of their statements, respect Serbia and the citizens of Serbia, writes Euronews Serbia.

On December 6, the first summit between the leaders of the EU and the Western Balkans will take place in Tirana. The official website of the Council of the European Union states that the summit is an opportunity to reaffirm the key importance of the strategic partnership between the EU and the Western Balkans, a region with a clear EU perspective.
