Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke to the media after the meeting with the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti in Brussels, which was organized with the mediation of the European Union.
As he said earlier today, there was no agreement with Prishtina for license plates in the north of Kosovo.
He said he is proud of the fact that the Serbian delegation came to Brussels with a clear goal to agree and negotiate, to preserve peace, people’s lives and the stability of the entire region.
“We behaved responsibly, rationally, because we believe that there is no such mother who would want to return a child in a coffin, neither a sister, nor a wife, nor a child, and we considered it extremely important to do our best once again to accept compromise solutions, no matter how much we are criticized for it, because it is something important to us. We did our best,” he said.
