The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has published a video message where, among other things, he talked about the meeting in Ohrid on March 18.

According to Kurti, it is Serbia that refuses to sign the agreement.

“At the trilateral meeting in Brussels on February 27, I offered to sign the basic agreement on behalf of the Republic of Kosovo. Unfortunately, the president of Serbia refused. He made the refusal public after leaving the meeting. Next week we will meet again in Ohrid, in North Macedonia. I hope that Serbia’s refusal to sign the proposal in Brussels is not an indication that they do not agree with the content. Every day we witness creativity and constructiveness. We believe that the basic agreement between Kosovo and Serbia constitutes the advancement towards mutual recognition between the two states. We believe that the full normalization of relations requires such recognition, as the central point of the agreement”, says Kurti.
