In an earlier statement to the press, Vucic said that Serbia is an independent country and that it is very close to Russia.
“Serbia is very close to Russia, it is an independent country. I believe you have read and written over the last 9-10 months that Serbia was following Russia’s instructions to attack others in the Balkans. We have clearly disproved this with our actions. It’s easy to expose fake news, but the truth comes out and everyone knows the truth. Serbia is an independent country and is on its way to the EU,” he said.
