The Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, announced this Tuesday the Belgrade contract for the purchase of kamikaze drones.
Vucic announced that within the next two days, Serbia will sign the first contract with the United Arab Emirates for the purchase of drones.
During a statement to journalists from Abu Dhabi, Putin said that he hopes that kamikaze drones will be part of the Serbian army within the next 6 months.
“We are facing a challenging period, and from the statements of the [Russian] president, Vladimir Putin, it is clear that he will continue the fight in Ukraine very aggressively. For a few days, I expect major changes in the battlefield and in further political actions towards Serbia from the West and other international factors,” said Vucic.
After visiting the 2023 Arms and Military Equipment Fair, he added that in the coming days, he expects an escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, which, according to him, will make Serbia’s position even more difficult, writes REL.
