The Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, said that they are talking and “doing everything to maintain peace and stability and to find a compromise and a solution”.

This is what he declared today after the meeting with Patriarch Porfirije, REL reports.

Vucic did not, however, speak about his reasons for raising combat readiness to the highest level, a decision he took yesterday.

The Serbian president also stated that the barricades located in the north of Kosovo do not bother anyone, because according to him, no one passes through those roads, except the Serbs, who support the barricades as a form of protest and fight for their rights and lives.

“Why does someone hysterically insist on removing the barricades, because it is necessary for the Serbs to be expelled from the north of Kosovo, because this is the only way they see the solution to the problem, both the Albanians in Prishtina and a part of the international community”, he said.
