The Self-determination Movement (VV) in Albania, has published a video, which they have presented as a “video-footage evidence” accompanying their claims that the Legal Code was violated during the ballot counting process. This video was retrieved from the recording of the counting process dating April 26th, in the CEAZ no. 80, in Gjirokastra. The footage was taken from the official videotape held in the records of CEC.

In addition to the video publication, VV wrote that the counter is making markings on the ballot paper, while the other counters don’t react.

“In these recordings, we can clearly see the exercise of a criminal act, by a counter that puts markings on the ballot paper during the counting process, with the approval, although given in silence, of the other counters, that are obviously collaborating with him,” wrote VV, in Albania.

In addition, according to VV’s headquarters in Albania, the counter in question, immediately after the counting process, has contacted by phone, the candidate of SP in Gjirokaster, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Blendi Çuçi.

Earlier, VV has raised accusations concerning unlawful acts committed by the commissions of the counting stations during the ballot counting process. These offenses according to VV, include not letting the independent observers enter counting stations, pressurizing individuals to not document electoral crimes during the counting process, the counting commissions ignoring the requests of the three independent candidates, during the counting process etc.
