War in Israel/ Foreign Affairs Ministry: We are working for repatriation of Albanians

Some Albanian citizens in the Gaza Strip have contacted the Albanian Embassy in Egypt for help, to be repatriated to Albania.

The news was announced by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. Declaring that she is in constant communication with the embassies in Egypt and Israel and international organizations to facilitate the exit of citizens from the Gaza Strip.

“Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEFA), through the Embassies of the Republic of Albania in Israel and Egypt, continues its efforts to help citizens in difficulty, due to the war in Israel and the Gaza Strip.

After several interviews in the media, the MEFA through the embassy in Egypt has been put in contact with some citizens (Albanian citizens) who want to leave the Gaza Strip.

For 48 hours, the MEFA has been in hour-by-hour contact with these citizens, who only two days ago officially declared that they live in the Gaza Strip. Earlier, the MEFA did not have any declaration of Albanian citizens, near its authorities in Egypt or Israel, living in the Gaza Strip.

From the first contact with these citizens, MEFA is in constant communication with its representations in Egypt and Israel and international organizations to facilitate the exit of citizens from the Gaza Strip.
