The President of Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, said that Bosnia and Herzegovina has not recognized the Republic of Kosovo and that, for this reason, it cannot recognize its documents either.

This statement by Dodik comes shortly after Prime Minister Albin Kurti declared from the Berlin Summit that Kosovo will remove visas for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina from January 1 next year.

Meanwhile, the special envoy of the German government for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin, declared that as long as Dodik does not allow Kosovo Albanians to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina, he will not receive anything in return.

“Even if you give me all of Germany, you won’t get this. You can still come get your satellites. They keep trying to lecture us. It doesn’t work that way”, Dodiku said at a press conference in Sarajevo.

Bosnia-Herzegovina is the only country in the Western Balkans that does not have a free movement agreement with Kosovo.
