The weekend has brought an increased flow of vehicles to the entrance of the city of Elbasan.

Such a situation appears even during the weekdays. Traffic specialists judge that even the flow of Tirana towards the south of the country, but is vented towards Elbasan to avoid the west of Tirana, which also has traffic congestion.

There is also heavy traffic every day in the Librazhd area, this happened because of some works being done on a bridge, which is currently made with a single passage.

These works have blocked hundreds of travelers who are moving from Korça to the capital.

Recently to describe the southeast of the country due to heavy traffic a driver has to go through a long ordeal of suffering. Due to the lack of the Elbasan bypass but also the works in Librazhd, to go from Tirana to Korça a citizen must spend over 4 hours for a distance of about 160 km.
