According to lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu, right before the 2025 parliamentary elections, we will witness some major political scandals in our country.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Spahiu said that Albania’s foreign allies will open some sensational files on Albanian political leaders, in order to force them to leave politics.

“I think that the partners, the partner services, but also the NATO partner countries, on the eve of the 2025 elections, will encourage the Albanian parliament to approve other provisions for ‘lustration’, in order for some political leaders to force them to leave politics by publishing files, that these services already possess.

They will not only bring out the collaborators of the former-State Security, but also the collaborators and spies of the anti-Albanian services, including Russia and Iran. We will see some big scandals. I do not think or believe in arrests. I think that the partner countries will just remove from politics, with their files, some renowned political leaders in Albania, taking away their legal right to run for parliament”, he emphasized.
