The chairman of the Special Anti-Corruption Structure in Albania, widely known as SPAK, declared that there are 40 cases being investigated over alleged electoral fraud.
His declaration was made during an event organized on National Justice Day.
SPAK chief Arben Kraja said that all complaints have been reviewed. While regarding the “patron investigation”, he said that the case is in “a stalemate”.
“We have reviewed all the claims we have received, and we have launched 40 investigations that allegedly involve electoral fraud. Regarding the database, we had a problem with the company as it did not accept to submit it to us”, Kraja said.
Kraja also spoke about the assets of several judges that were seized recently and said that “if there is sufficient evidence on anyone, assets will be seized”.
