Former NATO commander-in-chief, Wesley Clark, has said that Serbia will eventually recognize Kosovo’s independence.

He has also spoken about a possible conflict in the Balkans, such as the attempts of Russian President Vladimir Putin to use Serbia for Russia’s imperial dream.

Clark, speaking about the current geopolitical context and whether Russia is using Serbia to destabilize the Balkan region, said that Serbia has been Russia’s most loyal friend for 150 years.
