For Albanians, Google is the virtual window that opens every day for their knowledge, news, and curiosities.

In 2023, Google searches for Albania have followed a continuous flow of changes and developments, from technological advancements in local gastronomy to the most significant global events to weekend visit options – these are some of the searches over the months, according to Google Trends.

In a specific 12-month survey, two significant interests among Albanian searches are notable.

The first is about ChatGPT, the already well-known platform for artificial intelligence usage.

While the second most frequent search is “job listings-marketing in Tirana”, which has surpassed searches for “looking for a job in Germany”.

In recent days, there has been an increase in searches for “Euro 2024”, taking into account the Albanian national football team’s consecutive victories.

Other searches include:

• Ryanair, which has been a top search in the past month, considering the entry of a new low-cost flight operator in Albania.
• Luiz Ejlli, even after months since the conclusion of the reality show, searches for this year’s Big Brother VIP winner continue.
• Google Translate, Weather, National Holidays 2023.
