Fredi Beleri’s lawyer, Edmond Dëma, told on “Review” in Euronews Albania that there is no evidence against his client, except a testimony.

According to the lawyer, it is about 40,000 lek that the associate of the prosecution had in his pocket, who claims that the other person who was arrested together with Fredi Beleri, but consulted with Fredi, gave him that money.

“Fredi Beleri said it himself he also maintained his own position, apart from our claims as a defender, and said that he did not touch any money with his hand, did not give any money, did not receive any promises,” said Dëma.

The lawyer said that the claim of the associate of the prosecution is the only evidence with which Beleri is accused.

“We also claimed in court that every action taken by the infiltrated person was provocative, that is, he provoked the filming because he asked Fred every day with unprecedented persistence to meet him until he gave him that list and took the money,” said Dëma.
