Analyst Bedri Islami has spoken about the current political situation in the country, the opposition protests and the revolution that Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta want to make.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, Islami said that the revolution is usually attributed to the left, not the right. According to him, the revolution starts with the people, not because a political party decides so.
“There are always some precisions in politics. Revolution is usually attributed to the left. With revolution, the left has exploited that peak of discomfort or turmoil, sometimes speculated on it and built a philosophy of its own. This is not a revolution, let’s be real. It is an ill-conceived reaction to what should be done to the government. Revolution never starts from above, it starts from below. The revolution cannot take place because the party decides that way,” he emphasized.
