Holders of an Albanian passport can travel visa-free to 123 countries worldwide. With this level of access, Albania ranks 43rd globally, marking an improvement of five places compared to the same report one year earlier. However, in terms of passport strength, according to the Henley Passport Index, Albania remains last in the region, tied with Kosovo.

In the index, Serbia ranks 34th with access to 139 destinations, while North Macedonia and Montenegro rank 40th, each with visa-free access to 129 destinations.

Globally, Singapore tops the ranking, with its citizens enjoying visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 195 out of 227 destinations worldwide — more than citizens of any other country.

Japan ranks second with access to 193 destinations, while European Union member states France, Germany, Italy, and Spain rank just below, alongside Finland and South Korea, each offering visa-free travel to 192 countries.

At the other end of the ranking, Afghanistan remains last, with access to only 26 destinations, preceded by Syria in 105th place with 27 destinations, and Iraq with access to 31 destinations.
