€100 million euros allocated to roads in 2022 State Budget

The 2022 State Budget has foreseen 12 billion ALL (around €100 million euro) around for the construction and maintenance of roads.

The most expensive project in the budget is the tunnel of Llogara, which connects Orikum and Himara. Its total cost: 4.6 billion ALL.

The actual cost of the Llogara tunnel is expected to reach 19.4 billion ALL that will be paid through the State Budget for the next 4 consecutive years.

The Budget has allocated another 1.7 billion ALL for the unfinished portion of the Grand Tirana Ring.

Other projects set to receive funding from the 2022 Budget are:

Bypass of Shkoder

Bypass of Tepelena

Kardhiq-Delvina Road

Remaining part of Korça-Erseka road

Concessions that will be funded by the 2022 Budget are:

Arber Road

Milot-Morine Road

Orikum-Dukat Road

Milot-Balldre Road

The majority of these projects are expected to end by 2024.
