14 citizens detained in Kosovo for meddling with the election process

Fourteen people have been detained on several allegations connected to the election process, declared the State Prosecutor, adding that 13 are still being held, while one has been released.

In Kllokot, four were arrested for allegedly undermining voter freedom, as well as on suspicion of vote/buying activities.

In Suhareka, one person was detained for hampering the voting process.

Three others were stopped by the police on two separate occasions. Two were detained for allegedly trying to bribe voters, while another for hampering the election process.

Of the three detained in Skenderaj one was released, while the two others are still under police custody as they are suspected of having undermined voter secrecy.

In Fushe Kosovo three were detained as they are suspected of having forged results.
