Around 150 motorcyclists from Bosnia Herzegovina and other countries, headed to Srebrenica this Sunday from the city of Bihac in honor of the victims that were killed by the Serbian genocide and to participate in the funerary ceremony that will take place on Monday.
Motorcyclists are from Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, the US, Turkey and Germany.
During the ceremony that will be held on July 11 in the commemmoratory center in Potocar, the remains of 50 victims of th massacre against Bosnians will be buried.
The Srebrenica Genocide or Bosnia’s Tragedy took place in July 1995 in Bosnia Herzegovina during which 8000 Bosnians were killed, mostly men and boys ages 12 – 77.
The genocide was executed by members of the Serbian National Army under the leadership of general Ratko Mllacic including the paramilitary unit known as “Škorpioni”.
The International Human Rights Court in The Hague has made the official ruling to widely recognize the Srebrenica massacre as genocide.
