A serious event took place in Podujevë, Kosovo, where an 18-year-old, Lulzim Fejzullahu, was killed in Kosovo.
Through an announcement, the Police announced that the 18-year-old was admitted to the hospital in a serious condition, after being brutally beaten by several people a few days ago, and yesterday he passed away.
Also, in the Police announcement, it is stated that the dead body has been sent to the Forensic Medicine, for the relevant examinations.
“SERIOUS MURDER- St. Drenica, Podujevo 14.01.2024-13:00. Regarding the case, on 20.01.2024 the Kosovar male victim, who was being treated at the QKUK, passed away. By decision of the prosecutor, the body was sent to the IML for autopsy. The case is being investigated”, the Police announcement states.
For this beating, on January 14, the police arrested two people who were sent to prison as a continuation of the investigation process. They were initially suspected of the criminal offense of “attempted murder”, but with the death of the young man, the suspects were charged with the criminal offense of “serious murder”.
According to Kosovo media, Lulzim’s uncle, Rrahim Fejzullahu, has told his version of how the tragic event happened. He first revealed that Lulzim was an orphan without both parents.
“I don’t know if [the attackers] were his age or not. First, they chased him with a car, crushed him with a car, knocked him down. When they knocked Lulzim down, they hit him with baseball bats, until today at 3:20 p.m. he died,” he told Raporto24.
