Two citizens were arrested and 6 others are facing criminal charges without being taken into custody, due to their involvement in the incident which took place during last night’s protest at the Blvd. Deshmoret e Kombit, where several Serbian flags were torn down and burned.
Police sources report that citizens A. C., 41 a resident of Tirana, and B. B., 56, a resident of Kruja have been arrested.
In addition, 6 other minors ranging from 15-16 years old are being criminally prosecuted. They are residents of Tirana and Durres.
These citizens took down and burned the Serbian flags that had been put up in honor of today’s Open Balkan Summit and Vucic’s and Zaev’s visit to Tirana.
