Two Colombian citizens have been arrested by the police in the city of Elbasan for the criminal offense of practicing prostitution.

The girls, aged 20 and 24, were arrested by blue uniforms in a rented apartment.

Citizens A. T., 25 years old, and Y. H., 43 years old, ended up in handcuffs for exploitation of prostitution. The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction for further actions.

“As part of the operation, Colombian citizens A. P., 20 years old, and A. R., 24 years old, were arrested for prostitution. Also, citizens A. T., 25 years old, and Y. H., 43 years old, were arrested for exploitation of prostitution.

Based on the information provided by the police intelligence about a case of prostitution in a rented apartment, the Police services, within the coded operation ‘Fee’, carried out a control in this apartment, where two Colombian citizens and citizens A. T. and Y. H were found.

Work continues on documenting the case, identifying and arresting the other citizens involved,” said the police announcement.
