606 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours, confirming that 233 citizens were newly infected with COVID-19 in Albania.

2 citizens, unfortunately, lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country to 3529.

In addition, 1 044 have successfully recovered, bringing the total number of known recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic to 292 597.

There is a total of 8997 active COVID patients in the country, 32 of whom are receiving hospitalized treatment.

As a result of the increase in the number of COVID cases in the country, the ministry of health has reiterated its calls to citizens to keep personal hygiene and not neglect to get their anti-COVID vaccines.
