The phenomenon of violence against women knows no boundaries. Only in the first 11 months of the year we are in, more than 4 thousand cases of violence and crime in the family have been reported to the police, more than 50% are women who have received protection orders.

Awareness of not accepting violence has led to an increase in reporting cases.

Denouncing violence is the appeal of experts, since in many cases women have also become victims. According to official data from 2010, in Albania we had an average of 10-12 murders of women by their partners.
