23 Albanian nationals were extradited on Thursday from the UK, reported British local daily paper Evening Standard.
The above were convicted on charges related to drug trafficking, kidnapping, and pedophilia.
An investigation revealed that they were all members of various organized crime groups and sentenced to over 72 years in jail.
The extradition comes in the wake of the implementation of an agreement with the UK on ‘Transfering Sentenced Persons’ who violate the law on British soil.
Last month, 190 foreigners were flown home from British authorities after committing various offenses, including manslaughter, sexual assault, drugs, attempted murder, and battery.
