COVID-19 claimed the lives of 4 citizens in the past 24 hours in Albania and infected another 406. Compared to the previous week, the number of new daily cases has been decreasing.

There are currently 6.551 known active cases in our country whereas a total of 136 patients are currently receiving specialized treatment in one of the country’s COVID-designated hospitals, 12 of whom are exhibiting serious symptoms.

The Ministry of Health appealed to citizens to get their vaccines as soon as possible.

Every citizen over the age of 16 can get vaccinated in our country, whereas children over the age of 12 that suffer from auto-immune diseases and have a doctor’s recommendation can also get their anti-COVID shots.
