In the past 24 hours, authorities conducted over 3.200 COVID tests in Albania, which were able to confirm 376 new infections, 151 of whom were in Tirana.

There are currently 5.528 known active cases in the entire country, 141 of whom are receiving specialized treatment in one of the COVID-designated hospitals and 14 are exhibiting severe forms of the virus.

In the last 24 hours, 4 citizens, unfortunately, lost their lives bringing the total number of fatalities since the beginning of the pandemic to 3.144.

In addition, health authorities have continued to make their public appeals calling citizens to get vaccinated. They also report that a total of 2.2 million anti-COVID vaccines have been administered so far in our country.
