About 500,000 euros have been seized in the seaport of Durres. The currency was found hidden in one of the buses that disembarked from the Bari-Durres ferry line.

Initially, it was stated that the euros were hidden in the upper compartments of the bus, but there has been no official statement in regards to the exact amount, as police sources state that the counting is still underway.

The undeclared money was discovered when the vehicle was scanned.

The bus driver was accompanied to the station, but there is still no statement about the incident from the local police.
