In the past 72 hours, police in Tirana have issued 6,000 fines for traffic violations. Additionally, 14 drivers have been arrested or criminally prosecuted, and 13 vehicles have been seized by traffic police.

During the enforcement operations in the capital, the Head of the Tirana Traffic Police Station, Lorenc Shehu, was also present.

“The Traffic Police Station of the Tirana Local Police Directorate has taken a series of measures to identify and penalize road users who violate traffic rules,” said Shehu.

Police are urging citizens to respect traffic regulations in order to prevent accidents.
