The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, through a post on Facebook announced that as of now, 6120 teachers have received the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Manastirliu wrote that the process is continuing across Albania and hasn’t exhibited any problems.
“6120 teachers are as of today, more protected towards COVID-19, after receiving their first dose of the vaccine, whereas the process of vaccination for teaching staff continues across Albania, with steady rhythms and problem-free. Soon, we’ll have good news regarding the intensification of the vaccination process, in the days to come,” wrote Manastirliu.
Meanwhile, refusals to take the vaccine have continued to occur amongst teaching personnel.
The AstraZeneca vaccine got the “OK” yesterday, from the European Agency of Medications, which dismissed all doubts about the efficacy of the vaccine, despite the fact that many countries have suspended its use.
