Lezha Police Department arrested 7 people for cultivating indoor cannabis and seized 58 kilograms and various electric devices.
On the first story of a house, police discovered a bar that had been turned into a lab.
According to authorities, the entire place is worth thousands of euros. Although the operation was finalized by Lezha PD, the building was located in the area covered by Durres PD.
Four of the arrested are OSHEE employees and were also charged with abuse of office.
“In this building, we found an illegal electrical line which served to supply the lamps, aspirators and filtering tubes which are needed to grow the narcotics”, a police statement read.
The case has now been turned to the First Instance Court of Kurbin to launch a criminal proceeding.
