A total of 2.841 citizens were tested for COVID in the last 24 hours in Albania, out of which 502 were confirmed to have contracted the virus.

In addition, 153 citizens are currently hospitalized in one of the COVID-designated hospitals in the country, 17 of whom are exhibiting severe forms of the virus. In terms of mortalities, 7 citizens were unfortunately not able to make it and lost their lives to COVID in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities since the outbreak of the pandemic in our country to 3.029.

In their daily notice, the Ministry of Health announced that 611 citizens successfully recovered in the past 24 hours, which brought the total number of known recoveries in the country so far to 184 247.

The Ministry of Health continued their appeal to citizens to get their anti-COVID shot in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
