A total of 7.626 tests have been conducted in our country in the last 24 hours, which confirmed that 2.179 citizens had newly contracted the coronavirus.

The ministry of health has announced that there are currently 19.131 active carriers of the virus in our country.

Unfortunately, 7 fatalities were attributed to COVID-19 in our country in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number since the outbreak of the pandemic to 3.262.

The ministry notice also stated that there has been a total of 206.384 known recoveries in Albania so far, and 824 have recovered in the 24 hours.

There are currently 134 patients who have been hospitalized due to COVID, 17 of whom have exhibited more severe forms of the virus,” – said the minister of health.

Health authorities continued their calls to citizens, urging them to get vaccinated while reiterating that vaccination is open to all citizens over the age of 16.

Meanwhile, they called on all citizens to continue complying with all anti-COVID measures and keeping personal hygiene.
