As the vote-counting process nears its conclusion, 3,704 out of 5,225 voting centers have been processed across Albania — about 70% of all ballot boxes. According to preliminary data from the Central Election Commission and current projections, the Socialist Party of Albania (SP) continues to lead decisively, securing 52.49% of valid national votes, translating to 506,129 votes.
In second place is the Democratic Party–Alliance for the Great Albania (PD–ASHM) coalition, with 34.11% of the votes, or 328,932 ballots counted so far. This confirms its position as the country’s main opposition force, with a considerable gap from both the SP and the smaller parties.
The third-largest political force nationwide based on total votes is the Social Democratic Party (PSD) with 3.62%, amounting to approximately 34,931 votes. Close behind in fourth place is the “Albania Becomes” Initiative (Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet) with 3.53%, or 34,066 votes.
The “Opportunity” Party follows with 2.87% (27,716 votes), ahead of other smaller parties:
- Together Movement (Bashkë): 1.33% (12,855 votes)
- Euro-Atlantic Coalition (KEA): 1.24% (12,001 votes)
- Other parties, including Homeland Movement, Albanian National Alliance, New Democracy Alliance, and the Right-Wing Coalition for Development, remain below 1%.
Projected seat distribution based on these results:
- Socialist Party (SP): 82 seats – securing a majority to govern alone
- PD–ASHM Coalition: 52 seats – maintaining its role as the main opposition
- Social Democratic Party (PSD): 3 seats
- Opportunity Party: 1 seat
- Albania Becomes Initiative: 1 seat
- Together Movement: 1 seat
Final results are expected to be confirmed after full counting is completed, but the current data already outline a clear electoral landscape.
