Euronews Albania’s most recent poll found that a staggering 92% of Albanians think that their government is extremely corrupt – or more specifically ‘drenched in corruption’.
Only 0.4% of citizens think that there is no corruption in our country, whereas 6.9% think corruption levels are low.
On the other hand, 34.6% believe that there is ‘a lot of corruption’ whereas 57.2% said that Albania is currently experiencing a ‘total state of corruption’.
Nearly 91.8% of all Albanians think their government is either ‘very corrupt’ or ‘totally corrupt’.
Methodology
The poll followed a method of conductinging face-to-face conversations with 1 000 adult citizens (over the age of 18) from urban and rural areas across Albania, in a time span lasting from August 10th -28th 2021.
