This morning, the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu oversaw the process of massive vaccination at the Skanderbeg square.
“We are now administering the vaccine to ages 65+. We are moving at a fast pace thanks to the work carried out by our team of vaccinators,” said Manastirliu.
While asking vaccinated citizens to continue showing caution for at least the first several weeks, Manastirliu appealed to all citizens over 60, to register with their family doctor, regarding the date and time of their vaccination.
Since the beginning of the anti-COVID vaccination process, 256.848 vaccines have been administered, out of which 182.669 to the elderly.
Meanwhile, yesterday, 360 new cases were confirmed out of the 3342 suspected tests.
The Ministry of Health also announced that 6 individuals, unfortunately, lost their lives yesterday, because of the virus.
