Starting from today, more relaxed measures against COVID-19 in our country will come into force. Curfew-hours have moved from 20:00 to 22:00 p.m. and will continue through to 06:00 a.m.
Thus, citizens will have the chance to be outside for an additional two hours and so will businesses, who will be open for longer. Another measure that was lifted as of yesterday, following the final approval of the Technical Committee of Experts, was the ban on flights from and to the UK.
These measures will stay in force for the next two weeks, until April 26th, which is exactly one day after the country’s general elections.
The Technical Committee of Experts argued that this judgment came as a result of a lowered rate of infections from the coronavirus in our country, during the past couple of weeks.
